Features
- Instanced PvE content automatically scales depending on the number of players inside.
- Soloing an instance scales it based on your Class.
- Solo players can queue in the Dungeon Finder.
- Instances have Mythic mode (see the Mythic NPC in both faction capitals). You need to have a Key (buyable from the NPC or from a drop), have Mythic level set (again from the NPC), and be a leader of a group to activate the Key.
- You can buff you character inside an instance with the command: .buff It applies appropriate stack of buffs, according to your level, class and type of instance.
- You can choose any starting zone belonging to your faction - at Level 1, from an NPC near your spawn point.
- XP rate can be adjusted by right mouse click on your XP bar, or with a command: .xp help Note that you can only lower it - you can't set it higher than the default one.
- You can loot all dead corpses nearby at once (aoe looting).
- Looted or rewarded items have a chance to have a random enchantment.
- You can change the appearance of your gear by visiting the Transmog NPC in both Faction capitals. Looting gear adds it to your appearance options for transmog.
- Achievements give you rewards. Check your in-game mailbox.
- All flight paths are (currently) unlocked from the start.
- Guild registrations (currently) do not require signatures.
- Guild Masters can buy a Guild House, which can be equipped (subsequently) with various trainers, vendors, innkeeper, portals and more, by buying them. Guild House sellers are near the Guild Master NPCs in both Faction capitals (Stormwind and Orgimmar).
- 1v1 Arena Master available in the Faction capitals.
- Extra vendors with essentials (glyphs etc.), service NPC's and more are (currently) available in the capitals.
Cross-Faction Gameplay
- You can form PvE groups, join guilds, trade, mail, duel, inspect, friend list, chat in Channels with members of the opposite faction. The Auction House is faction neutral.
- Both factions can mix in Battlegrounds and Arena-Teams. Note that you are not allowed to assist opposite faction players of your group in World PvP encounters by buffing, healing etc., see the Rules.
Global World Chat
- A global Cross-Faction world chat is available by typing: #w <message>
Hardcore and Semi-Hardcore
- Level 1 (only) characters can activate Challenges: Hardcore - death is permanent, and Semi-Hardcore - death strips your gear and money.
Once activated, challenges can't be deactivated. Hard/Semi players have PvP protections - hits by players phase them out, and PvP deaths do not trigger the challenge specific consequences (also Challenge players are protected from PvP by the Rules).
Softcore players are not allowed to attack Hard/Semicore players and vice-versa (including PvP between each other).
Multiboxing with a HC/SHC characters is not permitted. Hardcore and Semi-Hardcore players can be recognized by the blue and green aura they have.
Both challenges can be activated from an object ("Shrine of Challenge" - looks like eagle head figurine) nearby all starting zones (you have to find it).
Mak'gora
- Mak'gora (Duel to the Death). Softcore players can challenge each other to a Duel to the Death (Hard/Semi players are not allowed).
It starts by targeting a player and typing: .makgora
The challenged player needs to type: .makgora accept and then click on the Accept duel button.
Be aware that death is permanent, despite that your character is softcore! Trying to leave the duel or logout counts as desertion and means a loss, which is also a permanent death!
Warning: Currently Mak'gora duels do not have implemented any PvP protection mechanisms. Despite griefing Mak'gora being against the rules - be aware from the opposite faction! Choose a secluded and private location.
